Novutech: Supporting Scale-ups' Digital Transformation Towards E-invoicing by The Business Times

First, could you introduce Novutech and its core business?

M.L: "We've been NetSuite integrators since 2019. Our core business is helping companies implement NetSuite, with industry expertise as we support SaaS industries, services, and fintech. In parallel, we work on the NetSuite ecosystem through our next-generation EPM platform, Pigment, which enables real-time planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. We are long-term partners for our clients - of the 200 we have, about a hundred have been loyal to us since Novutech's creation."

You have a cloud-native approach. Is this a deliberate choice to align with the objectives of streamlining, interoperability, and automation of tax exchanges mandated by 2026?

M.L: "Yes, this was a choice from the start. On one hand, it doesn't generate infrastructure costs for our clients, who benefit from a solution that's simple to implement and manage. NetSuite also has the advantage of being able to integrate with PDP platforms, necessary for the e-invoicing reform. A cloud-native ERP is also beneficial for companies looking to grow. NetSuite offers two updates per year. This is an asset for compliance with regulations in each country."

What challenges await the scale-ups you support?

M.L: "Among the challenges: increasingly complex structures (multi-entity and multi-subsidiary management), currency volatility, regulatory compliance, agility, global reporting. A company making an acquisition also needs to quickly harmonize its processes."

In your opinion, how can the invoicing reform be a performance lever?

M.L: "It will help develop collaboration between different departments, automate invoicing processes, and increase their visibility. We'll avoid data entry errors and have greater invoice traceability. This reform will also enable automated tax reporting."
